The first thing I noticed was all the sequins. Loads of them! It felt like I was in a film! Dresses shone in every colour known to man… blues, reds, pinks, blacks, you name it, it was there. There are a variety of lengths, short and long so there will be everything to fit your preference. And if you’re looking to shimmer like a celeb, look no further! The amazing Sherri Hill dresses that have been modeled by Kendall Jenner are in stock! If you however don’t find what you are looking for, it can be ordered in for you. Amy Barker, co owner of the store says, ‘We don’t want anyone to leave the store settling for second best. We want them to feel as though they have got exactly what they were looking for.’

Amy has years of pageant experience herself, so knows all about finding a dress that makes you feel amazing. She also offers pageant training, meaning if you are looking to get into pageants, your first time won’t be so nerve wracking.

Following on from my Elie Saab post, I’ve decided to stick with a sparkly theme. Sequins. As we all know, the festive season is fast approaching and it’s time to pull out that glitzy dress from the back of your wardrobe and make an entrance! Sequins are a bold style choice to conquer so I took to two fashion greats who show us how it’s done.

Queen of sequins, Taylor Swift chose a more subtle approach to the trend at her Kensington Palace appearance in November, opting for a dress by Reem Acra. The simplistic white chiffon skirt made space for the glittered bodice to grab the attention of onlookers, creating a jaw dropping look. After all, sophisticated elegance is what the country star does best! So if you’re a little wary of standing out too much, why not go for a half and half combo?

If however, you’re in for the kill, take note from pop princess Ariana Grande. She not only wowed the audience with a stunning performance of her single Tattooed Heart at the AMA’s but she also had all eyes on her Jessica Rabbit inspired dress by Dolce and Gabbana. The flaming crimson gown lit up as the starlet graced the red carpet. Ariana made sure that nothing could take away from the dress that skimmed her slender figure by choosing minimal accessories. She paired it with a black, rectangular clutch and the only pieces of jewelry in sight were small earrings and a statement silver ring.

It’s up to you! Go all out and dress to impress with full on glitter glamour, or strip it back with just a delicate amount of the Christmas classic.
